What activity/business sectors are using design? participate
Filling this questionnaire will only take a few minutes. It is part a unique project whose aim is to produce on-line resources to support design training. The aim is to help European countries develop their industry standard for design training and professional development. All your answers will remain confidential. The results of this survey will be published on the EDTI website and announced through EDTI eNews and news releases. Thank you for your collaboration. About NACE codes It is important to identify the business sector your organisation is working in, especially to identify sectors using design and those not using design. Therefore, EDTI is using, the first two levels (with one exception for design activities) of the NACE codes as published by the European Union on 14 October 2008. (See http://ec.europa.eu/comm/competition/mergers/cases/index/nace_all.html). The NACE codes are used to classify the registered organisations from all economic sectors. Recently, NACE codes have been assigned to design. So, if you’re a designer or a design consultancy, go to ‘M - Professional, scientific and technical activities’ and click on ‘M74.1 - Specialised design activities’. Objectives: This survey intends to:
  • Compare the activity sector companies and designers have been active in
  • Highlight sectors designers are trained to work in
  • Highlight sectors companies are trained or experienced to manage design

In which activity and business sector(s) are design buyers or users active? (no data)
